ORDER NO. 1/INSURANCE DATED 17.1.1977 The Minister for Labour and Social Affairs, After referring to the Law on Social Insurance as per Decree Law No. 24/1976; And to the communication submitted by Aluminium Bahrain Company No. 1/AFW/HAM dated 14.11.1976 with respect to request for the reduction of 1/3 of the rate of contribution to the branch of Insurance against employment accidents according to Article 48 of Law on Social Insurance issued by Decree Law No. 24/1976 for the undertaking given to bear the daily allowances to the workers sustaining employment accidents; And with reference to memorandum No. 2/Insurance submitted to the Board of Directors of the General Organisation for Social Insurance with regard to the subject or reducing the contribution to the branch of Insurance against employment accidents; And upon the approval given by the Board of Directors to the above-mentioned memorandum at its third sitting held on 13.12.1976 to reduce the rate of contribution by 1/3 to the Insurance Branch against employment accidents for Aluminium Bahrain Company, for the undertaking given to bear the daily allowances and transportation expenses to workers in the event of sustaining employment accidents; Hereby orders : Article 1 The rate of contribution to the branch of Insurance against employment accidents for Aluminium Bahrain Company shall be reduced by 1/3 against the Company's undertaking to bear the daily allowances and transportation expenses when its workers sustain employment accidents according to the provisions of the aforementioned Law on Social Insurance, till the end of 1977. Article 2 The reduction mentioned in the foregoing Article shall apply as from the fifth day of January 1977. Article 3 This order shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into effect as from the date mentioned in Article 2 above.
