PART 4: MINISTERIAL ORDERS
MINISTERIAL ORDER NO. 8/INSURANCE DATED 14.2.1977 WITH RESPECT TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A CONTROL COMMITTEE AT THE GENERAL ORGANISATION FOR SOCIAL INSURANCE
The Minister for Labour and Social Affairs, After referring to Article 131 of the Law on Social Insurance issued as per Decree Law No. 24/1976; And after referring to the communication, bearing No. 73/130 1/1976 and dated 19th October 1976, by His Excellency the Minister of Finance and National Economy; Hereby orders :
Article 1
A control committee at the General Organisation for Social Insurance, as provided for in Article 131 of the above-mentioned Law on Social Insurance, shall be set up consisting of the following :-
Article 2
The Control Committee shall exercise the functions stipulated in the above-mentioned Article 131 and any further other functions referred to it by us or the Board of Directors.
The Control Committee shall prepare a report at the end of the sixth month of each financial year in which it shall set forth its views on the activities of the Organisation during the said period and it shall be required to prepare an annual report at the end of the financial year.
Article 3
The Director General of the Organisation shall second three employees of the said Organisation to be affiliated to the Control Committee.
Article 4
This Order shall be published in the Official Gazette and it shall come into effect as from the first of March 1977 and the General Organisation for Social Insurance shall implement its provisions.
