PART 4: MINISTERIAL ORDERS
MINISTERIAL ORDER NO. 2/1988 INSURANCE WITH RESPECT TO REDUCING CONTRIBUTION RATE TO INSURANCE BRANCH AGAINST EMPLOYMENT INJURIES FOR BAHRAIN INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL
The Minister for Labour and Social Affairs, Having reviewed Articles 47 and 48 of the Social Insurance Law promulgated by Legislative Decree No. 24 of 1976 as amended; And upon the approval of the Board of Directors of the General Organisation for Social Insurance at its 63rd Meeting held on 9.1.1987 for reducing contribution to the insurance branch against employment injuries; And upon the submission of the Director General of the General Organisation for Social Insurance; Hereby orders :
Article 1
The contribution to insurance against employment injuries and occupational diseases provided for in Article 47(1) of the Social Insurance Law hereinabove referred to, shall be reduced for Bahrain International Hospital at the rate of two thirds for a period of one year commencing from 9.11.1987 in consideration of the aforesaid Hospital's undertaking to provide medical care for the insured's in case of sustaining injury as provided for in Article 50 of the Social Insurance Law. The employer shall incur the daily allowances and transport costs in case of suffering any injury.
Article 2
The management of Bahrain International Hospital shall display in a prominent place that the insureds are treated free of charge should any of them sustains an employment injury or an occupational disease according to this Order as from 9.11.1987.
Article 3
The Director General of the General Organisation for Social Insurance shall implement this Order which shall be published in the Official Gazette.
