PART 4: MINISTERIAL ORDERS
MINISTERIAL ORDER NO. 1/INSURANCE OF 1989 WITH RESPECT TO PERMITTING THE AMERICAN MISSION HOSPITAL A REDUCTION IN THE CONTRIBUTION THE BRANCH OF INSURANCE AGAINST EMPLOYMENT ACCIDENTS
The Minister for Labour and Social Affairs, Having reviewing articles 47 and 48 of the Social Insurance Law promulgated by Decree-Law No. 24/1976 and its amendments; And upon the approval given by the Board of Directors in its sixty-six session held on 28/11/1988 to reduce the rate of contribution to the insurance branch against employment accidents; And upon submitting to the Director-General of the General Organisation for Social Insurance; Hereby orders :
Article 1
The insurance contribution against employment accidents and occupational diseases designated in para. 1 of article 47 of the Social Insurance Law referred to shall be reduced at an amount of two-thirds for a period of one year effective from 1/1/1989 against the undertaking of the said hospital the medical treatment of all its insured persons in case of the occurrence of employment accident to any of them as stipulated in Article 50 of the Social Insurance Law together with the payment of the per dium allowance and the transportation fees.
Article 2
The management of the American Mission Hospital undertakes to post up in a conspicuous place in the premises of the hospital a notice announcing that the insured persons of the hospital, employees and workers, shall be medically treated gratis by the hospital in case of any of them meets with an employment accident or an occupational disease in accordance with this Order effective from 1/1/1989.
Article 3
The Director-General of the General Organisation for Social Insurance shall implement his Order which shall be published in the Official Gazette.
