Beyon Connect and the Social Insurance Organisation, (SIO) have signed a partnership that will facilitate the SIO’s adoption of eKey 2.0, the new national authentication and eKYC system.
Through the agreement, the SIO will integrate eKey 2.0, supported by Beyon Connect’s advanced authentication technology, into its digital services platform, aiming to make accessing SIO’s eServices easier, faster, and more secure for users, while aligning with Bahrain’s broader push toward digital transformation. The signing took place at the SIO premises on Monday, 17 March.
Speaking following the signing, Beyon Connect CEO Christopher Hild said, “We are proud to be working with the SIO who join the early adopters of eKey 2.0. By implementing eKey 2.0, the SIO showcases the transformative power of seamless authentication. Their participation as an early adopter helps to accelerate the adoption of eKey 2.0 across all industries in the Kingdom, boosting Bahrain’s reputation for progressive digital services.”
Sahar Rashid Al Mannai, CEO of SIO commented on the signing saying, “We are delighted to sign with Beyon Connect and look forward to implementing eKey 2.0 into our online services platform. In our role of providing crucial services for citizens, data privacy and security are given high priority, and the trusted authentication technology provided by Beyon Connect ensures that citizens benefit from reliable, secure transactions and an enhanced customer experience.”
