Insurance Services for All

Insurance Services for All

The services of the Social Insurance Organization are not limited to insurance alone. At the core of its mission to ensure social security and peace of mind, the SIO is committed to providing high-quality insurance services to all—without exception. The Organization prioritizes convenience, accessibility, and inclusiveness in the delivery of its services to ensure that every individual can benefit equally.

In line with this commitment, the SIO has implemented a wide range of measures to accommodate all beneficiaries. For example, its main headquarters includes a dedicated waiting area for women to ensure privacy, and all service centers are equipped with wheelchairs for persons with disabilities. Moreover, a dedicated queue numbering system has been put in place for senior citizens and individuals with special needs, ensuring they are given service priority.

Non-Bahraini employees are treated equally to their Bahraini counterparts when it comes to settlement of insurance entitlements in the event of work-related death. In such cases, the Organization disburses a lump-sum payment, a death grant, and funeral expenses.

The SIO affirms its unwavering commitment to serving everyone—without exception. It continuously evaluates its services in light of beneficiaries’ feedback, evolving conditions, and emerging needs, and it strives to enhance and facilitate access to its services for all, without discrimination or exclusion.
