The procedures required to register the Gulf insured who works for a Bahraini employer is that the employer registers the insured through the electronic portal of the www.sio.gov.bh Authority (National Labour Registration Service), fills out the insurance protection extension form and attaches the following documents according to the worker's country of domicile:
United Arab Emirates: A true copy of the family book, passport stamped by the employer, a copy of the appointment decision or employment contract for employees in the government sector, including "the basic salary plus housing allowance, social allowance for children and the cost of living allowance - if any", a copy of the appointment decision or employment contract for workers in the private sector including "monthly wage plus bonuses and allowances paid to him monthly", birth certificate or age estimate.
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Public Sector): A copy of the civil status card, a certified copy of the appointment decision, a copy of the employee's salary grade.
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Private Sector): A copy of the national identity card or family card for women, a document of the wages of the periods to be registered retroactively, a copy of the employment contract - if any, in the event of registering the establishment for the first time, an official document with the employer's data is requested in one of the following forms: (automatic print bearing the logo of the workplace device, manual statement, official email from the workplace agency) Note that all documents must be certified with the official seal of the workplace authority.
Sultanate of Oman (Government Sector): A copy of the appointment decision, appointment contract, a copy of a valid ID card, a copy of a valid passport, a certified statement of the basic salary gradation since the beginning of the employee's appointment, a copy of the birth certificate or age estimate.
Sultanate of Oman (Private Sector): A copy of the passport or ID card, a copy of the employment contract approved by the competent authorities in the countries of the workplace.
State of Qatar: A copy of the Qatari ID card.
State of Kuwait: A copy of the nationality certificate, birth certificate, civil ID, a copy of the appointment decision or employment contract, a detailed salary statement for the government and private sectors - if any.
Note: The government sector cannot be registered through the portal together except for billers.
